Key Responsibilities


  • Strategy & Planning
    • Develop and implement supply chain strategies aligned with the company’s retail business goals.
    • Forecast demand, plan procurement, and ensure adequate stock availability.
  • Procurement & Vendor Management
    • Source, negotiate, and manage relationships with suppliers and service providers.
    • Ensure compliance with quality standards, lead times, and cost objectives.
  • Logistics & Distribution
    • Oversee warehousing, transportation, and last-mile delivery to retail outlets.
    • Optimize logistics processes to reduce lead time and improve service levels.
  • Inventory & Stock Control
    • Monitor inventory levels across retail locations and warehouses.
    • Implement effective stock management practices to avoid overstocking and stockouts.
  • Team Leadership
    • Lead and develop the supply chain team to ensure smooth daily operations.
    • Collaborate with sales, finance, and operations teams to align supply with demand.
  • Process Improvement & Reporting
    • Continuously review and improve supply chain processes.
    • Track key KPIs (cost, delivery time, stock turnover, wastage) and prepare regular performance reports for management.

Qualifications & Requirements


  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or related field (Master’s is a plus).
  • Minimum 5–7 years of supply chain experience in retail or FMCG industries.
  • Strong knowledge of procurement, inventory management, and logistics operations.
  • Excellent negotiation, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in ERP/supply chain management systems.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and deliver results in a fast-paced retail environment.
