PIPECARE is looking for a professional and experienced Supplier Chain Manager to join their organization Candidates who can join immediately with past experience as Supply Chain Managers have added advantage..
Key Responsibilities & Authorities:
- Planning the activities and tasks for all supply chain department aiming for best practice process & policies globally.
- Find best work practices to fulfil the company requirements and expectations from supply chain
- To utilize industrial engineering skills in improving the supply chain
- Handling negotiations with supplier with related to procurements
- Finding the best ways to minimize the procurement cost with the same required quality
- Handling stores activities day to day work plan. Increasing the efficiency of store by minimizing the over cost and maintaining the space
- Auditing the store
- Overviewing the logistics work
- Maintaining all the work related to supply chain and to get the best out of the people.
- Match the targets as per prepared plans.
- Perform other duties as assigned by management and/or Supervisor.

Skills/Experience:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Engineering or Supply Chain Management
- Excellent supply chain experience in Oil and Gas business or Automotive industry. Min 10 years’ experience managing/leading supply chain department
- Experience in managing, mentoring and directing team members (at least 5 subordinates)
- Hands on experience in Inventory management (bar coding; minimum stock planning etc)
- Experience in strategic sourcing
- Knowledge of local and International Suppliers
- Excellent reporting and Project Management skills
- Capability to build and develop effective Supplier relationships
- Advances skills in Inventory management system
- Strong Negotiation skills
- Fluent English is a must
Physical and Mental Requirements:
- Lifting and Carrying: Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
- Mobility: Must be able to walk and climb to perform duties, including maneuvering within a refinery or plant environment and accessing elevated platforms via ladders and stairwells.
- Communication: Sufficient clarity of speech and hearing, or other communication capabilities, to communicate effectively.
- Focus and Multitasking: Ability to maintain focus and multitask effectively.
- Safety Equipment: Must be able to wear safety equipment as required by the safety department for personal protection, if/where needed in manufacturing environments.
- Personal Mobility and Reflexes: Sufficient personal mobility and physical reflexes, with or without reasonable accommodations, to perform office duties and travel to off-site locations when necessary.
