Supervisor QC (Civil)

Job Summary

The QC Civil Supervisor is responsible for supervising and executing civil quality control activities, ensuring all construction works comply with project specifications, industry standards, and client requirements.

Salary : SAR 12500 - 14000

Location : Jubail, Saudi Arabia

Roles & Responsibilities

• Oversee civil QC inspections for excavation, backfilling, concreting, formwork, and rebar works.
• Review civil drawings, project specifications, method statements, and ITPs before execution.
• Conduct site inspections for foundations, slabs, retaining structures, pavements, and finishing works.
• Verify material compliance (cement, aggregates, concrete mix, rebar, blocks, etc.) with MTCs and project standards.
• Supervise concrete trials, slump tests, cube casting, and curing inspections.
• Monitor contractor work to ensure adherence to project standards and QA/QC requirements.
• Prepare inspection reports, punch lists, NCRs, and corrective action plans.
• Coordinate with consultants, clients, and third-party inspectors during all inspection stages.
• Ensure proper documentation of test reports, site records, and quality logs.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives in civil construction quality and site practices.
• Ensure safety and quality standards are followed at all times on site.

Mandatory Requirements

• Diploma or Graduation in Civil Engineering.
• Minimum 13–15 years experience in QC Civil works.
• Strong knowledge of civil codes and standards (ACI, ASTM, BS/EN, local municipal standards).
• Experience in reviewing and implementing ITPs, method statements, and inspection checklists.
• Hands-on experience in concrete works, compaction tests, soil testing, and materials inspection.
• Ability to read and interpret civil drawings, sections, and construction details.
• Strong documentation and reporting abilities.
• Experience coordinating with consultants, clients, and third-party inspectors.
