Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop conceptual and detailed designs for subsea production systems, including wellheads, christmas trees, manifolds, pipelines, and control systems.
  • Conduct engineering analyses and simulations to optimize subsea equipment configurations, materials selection, and installation methods.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including reservoir engineers, drilling engineers, and geoscientists, to integrate subsea systems with overall field development plans.
  • Specify subsea equipment requirements based on project objectives, reservoir characteristics, and environmental conditions.
  • Evaluate equipment vendors and subcontractors, review technical proposals, and participate in equipment selection and procurement activities.
  • Coordinate with supply chain and logistics teams to ensure timely delivery and installation of subsea equipment and materials.
  • Plan and oversee subsea equipment installation and commissioning activities, including ROV operations, pipeline laying, and subsea infrastructure deployment.
  • Develop installation procedures and work instructions, and provide technical guidance to offshore installation teams and contractors.
  • Conduct pre-commissioning and testing of subsea equipment to verify functionality and integrity prior to production operations.


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering, petroleum engineering, or related field (Master's degree preferred).
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in subsea engineering, with a focus on offshore oil and gas production projects.
  • Strong knowledge of subsea equipment design, installation, and maintenance principles and practices.
  • Proficiency in subsea engineering software and tools, such as structural analysis software (e.g., ABAQUS, ANSYS), flow assurance software (e.g., OLGA, PIPELINE), and subsea control systems.
  • Familiarity with relevant industry standards and regulations, including API, ISO, and DNV.
