Job Description

Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented Structure Field Engineer to join our team!

What You’ll Be Doing

Structural Inspection and Quality Assurance:

• Conduct daily inspections of structural works including foundations, pavements, retaining walls, and structural steel elements.
• Ensure construction methods and materials comply with approved drawings, specifications, and industry codes.
• Identify and report non-conformances and assist in implementing corrective actions.
  
  
  

Field Engineering And Technical Support

• Support the resolution of design and construction queries on-site by coordinating with design consultants and senior engineers.
• Assist in interpreting structural drawings and ensuring proper implementation in the field.
• Participate in structural testing activities such as slump tests, rebar inspections, and concrete pour supervision.
  
  
  

Project Coordination And Communication

• Liaise with contractors, inspectors, and project managers to coordinate daily site activities.
• Attend site coordination meetings and contribute to progress discussions and issue resolution.
• Document and communicate technical updates clearly and consistently.
  
  
  

Health, Safety, And Environmental Compliance

• Comply with project safety procedures and promote safe practices on-site.
• Report safety incidents or observations related to structural activities promptly.
  
  
  

Documentation And Reporting

• Maintain daily inspection logs and progress reports.
• Support the review of structural method statements, ITPs, and material submittals.
• Assist in preparing redline drawings and as-built documentation.
  
  
  

Education

What Required Skills You’ll Bring:

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Structural Engineering.
  
  
  

Experience

• Minimum 2 years of experience in construction site supervision or structural field engineering.
• Exposure to infrastructure or airfield construction projects is preferred.
  
  
  

Skills & Knowledge

• Understanding of structural design concepts and construction methodologies.
• Familiarity with relevant codes and standards (ACI, BS, ASTM).
• Basic knowledge of QA/QC and inspection protocols for concrete and steel.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to work under supervision in a fast-paced construction environment.
  
  
  

What Desired Skills You’ll Bring

• Exposure to airport or large-scale infrastructure projects.
• Familiarity with construction management tools and software (AutoCAD, MS Excel, etc.).
• Fluency in English; Arabic is a plus.
