Job Description

WSP is currently looking for a detail-oriented and experienced Structural Inspector to join our team in Riyadh. The successful candidate will support our ongoing infrastructure and urban development projects, ensuring construction works are carried out in accordance with approved drawings, specifications, and quality standards. ""

Responsibilities

  • Conduct regular inspections of structural works on site to ensure compliance with project specifications, drawings, and codes.
  • Monitor contractors’ work to ensure quality, safety, and adherence to project schedules.
  • Review method statements, ITPs (Inspection & Test Plans), and material submissions for structural works.
  • Identify non-conformances and issue NCRs (Non-Conformance Reports) where necessary.
  • Maintain detailed inspection records and prepare daily and weekly reports for site activities.
  • Coordinate with contractors, consultants, and project management teams to resolve technical issues.
  • Attend site meetings and provide inputs from a structural quality perspective.
  • Ensure construction practices comply with applicable local regulations and international standards.
  • Support project engineers and resident engineers in supervising the implementation of the structural scope of work.


Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or Diploma in Civil or Structural Engineering or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in structural inspection, preferably on large-scale infrastructure or urban development projects.
  • Previous experience working on consultancy or supervision roles is highly preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of construction materials, methods, and structural inspection techniques.
  • Proficient in reading and interpreting structural drawings and specifications.
  • Strong reporting and documentation skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Must be a Saudi National.
  • Valid SCE (Saudi Council of Engineers) membership is mandatory.
