Structural BIM Modeler

The Structural BIM Modeler is responsible for developing and coordinating accurate structural BIM models in accordance with project drawings, specifications, and BIM Execution Plans. The role involves close coordination with architectural and MEP disciplines, participation in clash detection and model reviews, and ensuring model quality, accuracy, and required LOD compliance on multidisciplinary projects.

• Develop detailed and accurate structural BIM models including foundations, columns, beams, slabs, walls, and reinforcement (as per project scope)
• Prepare and maintain structural models in accordance with project drawings, specifications, and BIM Execution Plans (BEP)
• Coordinate structural models with architectural and MEP disciplines to ensure proper alignment of levels, grids, openings, and interfaces
• Understand architectural layouts, design intent, and spatial requirements to support effective coordination
• Participate in clash detection, model reviews, and coordination meetings
• Update models based on design changes, RFIs, and coordination comments
• Ensure model quality, accuracy, and compliance with project standards and required LOD levels
• Assist in extracting shop drawings, quantities, and schedules from the BIM model when required

• Minimum 5 years of proven experience as a BIM Structure Modeler
• Strong knowledge of structural systems and construction methodology
• Proficiency in BIM tools (e.g., Revit Structure, Navisworks)
• Good understanding of architectural modeling principles and coordination workflows
• Experience working on multidisciplinary BIM projects
• Ability to work independently, meet deadlines, and collaborate within a team
