Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented Stakeholder Liaison to join our team! In this role you will get to maintain positive relationships and clear communication with all stakeholders involved in the Airport Development Project. This individual will ensure that stakeholders are informed, engaged, and aligned with the project's goals, fostering a collaborative and transparent environment throughout the project lifecycle.

Job Description
Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented Stakeholder Liaison to join our team! In this role you will get to maintain positive relationships and clear communication with all stakeholders involved in the Airport Development Project. This individual will ensure that stakeholders are informed, engaged, and aligned with the project's goals, fostering a collaborative and transparent environment throughout the project lifecycle.
The ideal candidate will have experience in managing relationships with diverse groups, effective communication skills, and the ability to resolve issues and manage risks effectively.
What You'll Be Doing;
- Serve as the primary point of contact for all project stakeholders, ensuring transparent, clear, and timely communication.
- Develop and implement a comprehensive stakeholder engagement plan, identifying key stakeholders and outlining strategies for regular communication.
- Organize and manage regular meetings, briefings, and updates with stakeholders to keep them informed of project progress, milestones, and any changes or issues.
- Build and maintain strong, collaborative relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including local authorities, community groups, contractors, and other key partners.
- Address any concerns or inquiries from stakeholders promptly and professionally, working to resolve any issues in a timely manner.
- Identify potential opportunities for stakeholder collaboration and engagement to support the project’s success.
- Prepare and distribute regular updates, reports, and presentations for key stakeholders, highlighting project progress, achievements, and upcoming milestones.
- Ensure that all stakeholder feedback is captured and communicated to the relevant project teams for action.
- Track and monitor stakeholder concerns and requests, ensuring appropriate responses and resolutions are provided.
- Act as a liaison in times of crisis or emerging issues, working with the project team to quickly address and resolve concerns raised by stakeholders.
- Develop strategies to mitigate stakeholder concerns and minimize any negative impact on project timelines or reputation.
- Proactively identify potential challenges and work with project leadership to develop communication and resolution strategies.
- Foster positive relationships with local communities and ensure their concerns and interests are considered during the project lifecycle.
- Organize and participate in community engagement activities, such as town hall meetings or public consultations, to keep local residents informed about the project and address their concerns.
- Coordinate with local authorities and regulatory bodies to ensure that community engagement aligns with local laws and regulations.
- Identify risks related to stakeholder relationships, such as potential opposition or negative public perception, and develop strategies to mitigate these risks.
- Collaborate with the project team to ensure that all stakeholder concerns are addressed as part of the overall risk management plan for the project.
- Collect and analyze feedback from stakeholders, ensuring that it is incorporated into the project planning and execution processes.
- Facilitate discussions with stakeholders to ensure that their needs and expectations are aligned with project goals.
- Work closely with the project team to ensure that stakeholder expectations are managed effectively.
- Work closely with project managers, communication teams, and other departments to ensure consistent messaging and alignment on stakeholder expectations.
- Support project teams in the development of communication strategies, materials, and presentations for stakeholder groups.
- Ensure that all stakeholder-related activities and communications are aligned with the overall project objectives and timelines.
- Minimum of 7 years of experience in stakeholder management, communications, or public relations, with at least 5 years in a leadership role within large infrastructure projects or construction
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Public Relations, Communications, or a related field. A Master’s degree or professional certifications (e.g., Project Management, Stakeholder Engagement) is a plus.
- Proven experience in managing relationships with diverse stakeholder groups, including government bodies, local communities, contractors, and clients.
- Experience in crisis management, conflict resolution, and public speaking is highly desirable.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to engage and build relationships with a wide range of stakeholders.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to prepare reports, presentations, and other communication materials for various audiences.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and stakeholders simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information professionally and tactfully.
- Certification in Project Management (e.g., PMP) or Stakeholder Engagement is a plus.
- Experience in stakeholder liaison within the aviation, construction, or large-scale infrastructure sectors.
- Understanding of regulatory and compliance issues related to stakeholder engagement in large projects.
- Familiarity with local cultures, traditions, and community dynamics, especially if working in international or diverse settings.
- Ability to navigate and understand local government processes and regulations.
- Proficiency in project management software (e.g., Microsoft Project, Primavera), communication tools, and reporting platforms.
