Position Staff Geophysicist

Fugro invites accomplished and dynamic professionals in both surface and wireline geophysics to join our team. In this role, you will play a crucial part in expanding our project leads and opportunities. Your responsibilities will include building and maintaining strong relationships with key stakeholders, positioning Fugro for success in executing significant projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform complex geophysical tasks, including acquiring, collating, processing, interpreting, and reporting high-quality geophysical data to provide accurate and customized deliverables to clients.
• Offer geophysical advice across multiple specialized technical disciplines.
• Develop client solutions by contextualizing acquired geophysical data.
• Propose improvements to research methods and quality systems.
• Provide technical input for tenders.
• Assist in establishing and compiling project procedures.
• Make recommendations, including supplementary investigations.
• Contribute to acquisition activities as needed.
• Manage and mentor team members.
  
  
  

Qualifications / Skills / Experience Required

• Minimum B.Sc. or M.Sc. in Geophysics.
• At least 5 years of experience in the field.
• Fluent in written and spoken English; Arabic speakers preferred.
• Strong personality, goal-oriented, and proactive in teamwork and relationship development.
• Demonstrable ability to exceed targets and meet tight deadlines efficiently.
• Ability to work independently to develop business delivery roles, increase the customer base, and support departmental growth in line with company goals.
• Proven success in working with clients and peers from diverse cultural backgrounds.
• Proficient in ICT, including MS Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Outlook.
