Job Purpose
The Sr. Engineer Business Development for OT Cybersecurity is responsible for designing and implementing business growth strategies focused on delivering innovative and comprehensive cybersecurity solutions for Industrial Control Systems (ICS) and critical infrastructure. The role involves expanding the customer base, strengthening relationships with partners, and increasing revenue by providing advanced solutions tailored to clients' needs.
Key Accountability AreasBusiness Strategy and Growth
- Develop and implement growth strategies to expand the company’s market share in OT cybersecurity.
- Identify market opportunities and create targeted business plans.
Client and Partner Engagement
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients to understand their cybersecurity needs.
- Collaborate with technology partners and vendors to deliver integrated solutions.
Innovation and Market Awareness
- Stay updated on OT cybersecurity advancements, emerging threats, and market trends.
- Recommend product and service enhancements based on market insights.
Reporting and Analysis
- Prepare detailed reports on business development activities and outcomes.
- Analyze performance metrics and suggest improvements for better results.
Solution Development
- Design and deliver customized cybersecurity solutions for Industrial Control Systems (ICS).
- Work with technical teams to ensure solutions align with industry standards.
Proof of Concept and Technical Validation
- Lead proof-of-concept (PoC) projects to validate cybersecurity solutions.
- Review technical documentation and ensure compliance with performance standards.
Tailored Cybersecurity Solutions
- Develop customized solutions to address specific project site challenges and requirements.
Consultation and Pre-Sales Support
- Provide technical expertise and consultation to customers and pre-sales teams.
- Advise on optimal cybersecurity solutions for OT environments.
Technical Support
- Prepare Bid Plans including strategy, resources, program, budget, cost estimation, role allocation, bid deliverables & responsibility matrix.
- Prepare clarification/deviation lists during the pre-bid stage and provide clarifications during the post-bid stage.
Presentations
- Deliver compelling technical and commercial presentations to stakeholders.
Marketing or Technical Events
- Support and present solutions at major cybersecurity events and explore potential vendor collaboration.
