Sr. IT Systems Engineer

Job Summary:

The IT Systems Engineer is responsible for the core systems that power productivity and security across the organization. You’ll manage identity, access, device control, and internal tooling, ensuring every user has the right access to the right tools, with stability and security as top priorities.

 Key Responsibilities:

• Manage Microsoft 365, Azure AD, and Single Sign-On configurations across enterprise tools
• Enforce device security policies using Mobile Device Management (MDM) platforms
• Maintain and optimize onboarding/offboarding processes (accounts, permissions, devices)
• Support hardware provisioning and asset tracking for all team members
• Maintain VPN, DNS, email routing, and endpoint protection tools
• Collaborate with Security, Engineering, and Support teams on access control and compliance needs
• Perform regular audits on permissions, infrastructure access, and SaaS account usage
• Troubleshoot escalated IT issues related to access, system availability, or identity services

 Expertise Required:

• 5-7 years of IT systems or sysadmin experience in fast-paced, cloud-native environments
• Expertise with Microsoft 365, Azure AD, and Identity Management systems
• Experience with MDM (e.g., Jamf, Intune, Kandji) and endpoint configuration
• Knowledge of networking basics (DNS, VPNs, IP routing, firewalls)
• Understanding of access roles, SSO/SAML, and security-first IT policies
• Familiarity with asset management and helpdesk tools
• Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Engineering, or related field preferred
• Strong troubleshooting skills and a service-oriented mindset
