Role Main Purpose

To architect and drive Kidana's growth strategy by building a scalable development pipeline, securing high-yield investments, and optimizing capital deployment - while ensuring rigorous feasibility standards and execution excellence across the portfolio.

Functional Responsibilities

Strategic Planning & Execution

  • Develop budgets for business development initiatives, ensuring resource allocation aligns with strategic priorities
  • Supervise operational activities to maintain alignment with organizational value chains and balanced scorecards
  • Execute strategic plans by setting clear goals, timelines, and action plans for new opportunities
  • Oversee market research (industry trends, customer needs, competitive landscape) to keep business development plans current

Opportunity Development & Risk Management

  • Lead high-level risk assessments and commercial due diligence for new opportunities
  • Collaborate cross-functionally to develop proposals, capability statements, and qualification documents
  • Validate feasibility parameters (market demand, financial/operational viability) through Director - Feasibility
  • Refine financial models (cash flows, ROI, sensitivity analysis) for strategic projects

Stakeholder & Governance Alignment

  • Present feasibility reports to the Chief and senior management, with actionable recommendations
  • Align internal teams (finance, legal, technical) and external partners (contractors, consultants) on project objectives
  • Ensure adherence to the Chief’s defined investment thesis and risk appetite

Performance & Accountability

  • Monitor strategic initiative progress (goals, timelines, resource utilization)
  • Track portfolio health through KPIs: feasibility-to-execution ratio, annual deployed capital, IRR
  • Conduct post-initiative reviews to identify improvement areas

Leadership Responsibilities

  • Set the investment vision by defining Kidana’s 3-5 year development/investment thesis and risk appetite.
  • Champion capital innovation by structuring novel financing vehicles.
  • Lead talent governance by approving key hires for Feasibility and Development teams and mentoring high-potential leaders.
  • Resolve strategic deadlocks between analysis (Feasibility) and execution (Development) teams.
  • Own portfolio-level accountability for IRR targets and capital recycling KPIs.
  • Oversee workforce planning and talent acquisition strategies, reports, figures, and budgets of business development and feasibility to ensure adequate staffing levels aimed at contributing to the achievement of the strategic objectives of Kidana.
  • Set performance management objectives based on business development and feasibility KPI’s and performance targets for all reporting team members and perform mid-year and year-end performance reviews.
  • Direct the identification of talent for pivotal roles in coordination with the Human Capital Department from a succession management standpoint.
  • Take decisive action to ensure speedy resolution of unresolved grievances or conflicts among team members.

Educational Qualifications: A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business Administration,Finance, PMP or related field.

Professional and Technical Certificates (Preferred Only): CFA, CAIA, CRE

Professional Experience

A minimum of 15+ years of experience in Business Administration,Finance, PMP or related fields is preferred.

8+ Years in leadership role in related fields
