Job Summary:
As a Sr. Backend Developer , you will play a pivotal role in the development and maintenance of sophisticated backend applications and systems. Your expertise in Java Spring boot and similar backend technologies will be instrumental in building robust, efficient, and scalable backend solutions. Experience in Process Automation Platforms is an advantage. Additionally, this role requires a deep understanding of server-side logic, database interactions, and the ability to lead and mentor a team of developers.

Additionally, this role requires a deep understanding of server-side logic, database interactions, and the ability to lead and mentor a team of developers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the development and optimization of server-side applications and databases using Java Spring boot ensuring High performance and responsiveness
- Design and implement advanced algorithms to solve complex problems in backend development.
- Automate processes and workflows using process automation platforms (Camunda etc.)
- Oversee integration with multiple data sources and databases (SQL, NoSQL, etc.)
- Spearhead the Agile development process, actively participating and leading sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives.
- Collaborate with front-end developers to integrate user-facing elements with server logic seamlessly.
- Work closely with product owners and designers to refine and enhance product features,
- Troubleshoot, debug, and upgrade existing systems, ensuring they meet the evolving needs of the business.
- Produce clean, efficient, and reusable code, setting a standard for the development team.
- Conduct code reviews, providing feedback to ensure adherence to best practices in coding standards, testability, and efficiency.
- Implementation of contemporary engineering practices like lean software development, test driven development, continuous integration and continuous deployment.
- Contribute and oversee the creation and maintenance of technical documentation, ensuring it reflects product updates and addresses user feedback.
- Provide technical leadership and mentoring to junior developers.
Education & Experience
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
- 7+ years of experience in backend development, with a focus on Java Spring Boot.
- Proven experience in building scalable and high-performing backend services.
- Experience with continuous integration and deployment (CI/CD).
- Deep understanding of API design and development, and microservices architecture.
- Strong understanding of code versioning tools, such as Git.
- Familiarity with containerization and orchestration tools (Docker, Kubernetes).
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work in a team environment.
