Role Overview
We are looking for a seasoned Technology Consultant with a strong background in application development, system integration, and customer-facing technical consulting. This KSA-based role focuses on building advanced, real-time, event-driven solutions that blend IoT, AI, computer vision, cloud technologies, and enterprise platforms. The ideal hire brings hands-on development capability alongside the confidence to engage customers, shape requirements, and design robust solutions.

Key Responsibilities

Consulting & Requirement Definition
* Partner with customers to uncover business needs and convert them into precise technical specifications.
* Assess operational workflows and recommend real-time, event-driven architectures (OODA/Rx).
* Lead technical conversations and propose solutions aligned with client objectives.
* Produce clear documentation covering requirements, integrations, and system behavior.

IoT / AI / System Integration
* Define connectivity and specifications for IoT devices (REST, MQTT, AMQP, Kafka, WebSocket).
* Assess AI capabilities (Vision AI, ML, GenAI, NLP) and design suitable integration approaches.
* Build and manage interfaces between internal platforms and external systems (APIs, cloud, databases, enterprise apps).
* Work closely with customers, partners, and IoT/AI vendors to deliver smooth integrations.

Application Development
* Design and develop real-time, event-driven applications (including coding).
* Implement distributed workflows, agents, rules, and data models.
* Conduct code reviews, ensure quality, and optimize performance.
* Support DevOps activities within the integrated development and runtime environment.

Technical Support & Collaboration
* Handle technical queries from partners and customers.
* Coordinate with global teams to resolve complex issues in English.
* Support proposals, PoCs, and technical workshops as required.

Technical Environment

Languages & Skills
* SQL, Python, JavaScript, JSON (Required)
* API knowledge (REST, WebSocket)
* Familiarity with cloud services and networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, security)

Platforms & Tools
* Real-time application development platform (Dev & Ops)
* Cloud: AWS / Azure / GCP
* Docker, Kubernetes
* Optional: AI libraries, IoT protocols, MQTT brokers, Kafka, time-series databases

Key Qualifications

Required
* Strong communication and structured problem-solving skills
* 8+ years in web/backend development
* 8+ years in system integration using REST APIs
* Cloud development experience (AWS or Azure)
* Professional proficiency in English and Arabic for technical discussions

Preferred
* IoT architecture or development experience
* AI/ML integration experience
* Experience leading small teams or coordinating offshore developers
* Code review and software quality experience
* Background in real-time, event-driven, or data-driven systems
