Job Title:Specialist, Tendering

Job Purpose

Responsible for supporting the tendering process within the Sourcing and Contracts section. This role involves assisting in the preparation, submission, and evaluation of tenders to ensure compliance with organizational policies and regulatory requirements.

Job Specific Accountabilities

Procurement Planning

 Assist in understanding the purchasing needs of customers and support the preparation of comprehensive procurement plans.

 Ensure procurement plans align with customer requirements and organizational goals.

Vendor Strategy and Selection

 Support the development and implementation of strategies to identify, evaluate, and select vendors that meet organizational goals and customer requirements.

 Assist in the sourcing of vendors to ensure they meet the specific needs and requirements of customers.

RFx Management

 Assist in drafting and issuing RFx (Request for Information, Request for Proposal, Request for Quotation) documents to the market to solicit bids from potential vendors.

 Ensure all RFx documents are accurate and comply with organizational policies.

Evaluation and Support

 Support the commercial evaluations of vendor proposals and assist business owners with technical evaluations to ensure the best selection of vendors.

 Provide guidance and support during the vendor evaluation process to ensure thorough and objective assessments.

Compliance and Documentation

 Ensure all tendering activities comply with organizational policies and regulatory requirements.

 Maintain accurate records of all tendering activities, including RFx documents, evaluations, and vendor selections.
