an exciting opportunity is available for Safety Specialist Located in Jubail.

POSITION SUMMARY:

To plan and coordinate organization and implementation of activities related to Occupational Safety to ensure the safety of all employees working on Tasnee premises and prevent any EHSS incidents.

KEY TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Leverage specialist knowledge and experience in the field to the benefit of the department, sharing, coaching and advising colleagues.
  • Work directly with engineering colleagues on complex Occupational Safety problems leveraging own experience to ensure an efficient solution is found.
  • Advise on local, international, and industry regulations relating to occupational safety, and recommends necessary action to attain compliance.
  • Remain abreast with local, international, and industry occupational safety best practices on an on-going basis in order to make appropriate recommendations, as and when required.
  • Monitor periodic performance reports for trends and conditions and alerts management to problems.
  • Investigate major safety accidents or problem areas and recommends future preventive measures.
  • Monitor existing and potential safety concerns and recommends priorities for resolution.
  • Identify safety hazards inherent in the organization’s operations and establishes guidelines for protection from those hazards.
  • Assist with the development of the awareness and training programs designed to raise safety awareness across all departments.
  • Make recommendations on and implement the department policies, and procedures covering all areas of department activity to ensure the delivery of a quality, cost-effective service to internal customers.
  • Provide coaching to colleagues and shares technical expertise with peers to promote team work and cooperation within the department and with other departments.
  • Ensure compliance to all relevant safety, quality and environmental management procedures and controls within a defined area of activity to guarantee employee safety, legislative compliance, delivery of high quality products/service and a responsible environmental attitude.
  • Ensure compliance with EHSM, IMRS and Responsible care.
  • Ensure compliance towards safety regulation within TPC.

Minimum Qualification & Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in chemical engineering or industrial Engineering.
  • 4 - 6 years experience with a minimum 2 years as an HSE Specialist within a reputed Oil & Gas organization and proven successful records of efficiency, performance and achievements
