ROLE MAIN PURPOSE
will be responsible to provide technical and operational expertise to control all safety activities of Kidana’s properties, employees, tenants, and visitors by implementing safety policies and procedures, conducting risk assessments, and maintaining an effective safety system.

Functional Responsibilities
- Safety Contract Management
- Manage safety-related contracts with contractors and vendors.
- Ensure contractor compliance with safety standards and regulations.
- Review, evaluate, and update safety contract requirements regularly.
- Coordinate with procurement and legal teams for contract alignment.
- Monitor contractor performance and address safety concerns.
- Policy and Procedure Implementation:
- Develop new safety policies aligned with regulatory requirements.
- Review and update existing safety procedures periodically.
- Ensure effective communication of policies to all employees.
- Verify implementation of procedures at all operational levels.
- Audit adherence to policies and recommend improvements.
- Safety Audits and Drills:
- Plan and conduct scheduled internal safety audits.
- Verify compliance with safety policies and procedures.
- Document audit findings with detailed observations.
- Recommend corrective actions for identified non-conformities.
- Follow up to ensure closure of audit findings.
- Planning and Implementation:
- Develop annual safety plans and objectives.
- Implement approved safety initiatives across departments.
- Ensure resources are allocated effectively for safety programs.
- Track progress of implementation and adjust plans as needed.
- Report implementation status to management periodically.
- Safety Incident Management:
- Ensure timely reporting of all incidents, accidents, and near misses.
- Conduct thorough investigations to determine root causes.
- Document investigation findings and recommended actions.
- Verify implementation of corrective and preventive actions.
- Report investigation outcomes to management for review.
- Public Event and VIP Visit Management:
- Perform regular official visits to operational sites.
- Inspect safety practices and identify potential hazards.
- Meet with site supervisors to discuss safety performance.
- Prepare visit reports with observations and recommendations.
- Follow up on actions taken to address site visit findings.
- Safety Awareness Promotion:
- Develop safety training plans based on operational needs.
- Conduct safety inductions for new employees and contractors.
- Deliver refresher training and awareness campaigns regularly.
- Evaluate training effectiveness through assessments and feedback.
- Maintain records of all safety training sessions conducted.
- Risk Identification and Mitigation:
- Conduct detailed risk assessments for work activities.
- Identify hazards and evaluate associated risks.
- Recommend appropriate control measures to mitigate risks.
- Review and update risk assessments periodically or as needed.
- Communicate risk assessment outcomes to relevant stakeholders.
- Reporting and Documentation:
- Prepare periodic safety performance reports for management.
- Maintain accurate records of inspections, audits, and incidents.
- Develop and update safety documentation, templates, and forms.
- Ensure documentation complies with regulatory and company standards.
- Submit reports to regulatory bodies as required.
- Educational Qualifications: A bachelor’s degree in safety engineering or a Related Field.
- Professional and Technical Certificates: National Examination Board in Occupational Safety and Health (NEBOSH)International General Certificate (IGC), Institution of Occupational Safety and Health (IOSH), Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA44), ISO 45001Lead Auditor Certificate.
- Minimum 5+ years’ experience as a security professional.
