Job Description


We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Specialist - Project Controls to join our dynamic team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. In this role, you will be responsible for executing comprehensive project control activities across various projects, ensuring efficient management of project resources, timelines, and budgets.

  • Develop and maintain Work Breakdown Structures (WBS) and baseline budgets in coordination with Project Managers
  • Monitor project financial performance using advanced project control methodologies
  • Collect progress data and perform Earned Value Analysis to track project performance
  • Analyze actual costs against baseline budgets and investigate variances
  • Identify and communicate financial risks and opportunities proactively
  • Generate weekly performance tracking reports and present financial data to various stakeholders
  • Establish and analyze project cost projections based on deployments and cost trends
  • Participate in project audit reviews and management reviews
  • Maintain accurate project financial records in compliance with company protocols
  • Ensure adherence to company governance requirements and change management processes
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support project success
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of project control processes and systems

Qualifications
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering, Science, or a related field
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in project control activities
  • Solid knowledge and hands-on experience with Earned Value Management methodology
  • Strong understanding of cost/schedule integration concepts and progress measurement fundamentals
  • Excellent analytical skills and structured thinking abilities
  • Effective communication skills, with the ability to present financial data to different audiences
  • Solid understanding of accounting principles and their impact on project actions
  • Proficiency in data analysis tools and techniques
  • Familiarity with project management software
  • Knowledge of risk management principles
  • Experience with change management processes
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
  • Goal-oriented mindset with a focus on achieving project objectives
