Internal Job Description

ROLE MAIN PURPOSE

Ensures a smooth and engaging experience for new hires from pre-boarding through integration. This role supports employee engagement, productivity, and retention by coordinating onboarding logistics and fostering a welcoming environment.

Functional Responsibilities

  • Coordinate and execute the end-to-end onboarding process, including documentation, orientation scheduling, and system access setup.
  • Collaborate with IT, payroll, admin, and department managers to ensure all onboarding logistics are completed prior to new hire start dates.
  • Conduct onboarding sessions to introduce new employees to company culture, values, policies, and procedures.
  • Ensure a smooth handover to line managers for departmental onboarding and role-specific training.
  • Monitor and enhance the onboarding experience through continuous feedback collection and improvement initiatives.
  • Maintain accurate onboarding records and ensure timely completion of all compliance requirements.
  • Support the development of onboarding content, welcome kits, and communication materials.
  • Serve as a point of contact for new hires, addressing questions and facilitating integration into the organization.
  • Assist in reporting and analyzing onboarding metrics to improve efficiency and employee satisfaction.
  • Coordinate onboarding programs for specific segments, such as fresh graduates, interns, or trainees, as required.

Educational Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Professional and Technical Certificates (Preferred): HR certification is a plus (e.g., SHRM-CP, CIPD Level 3 or above).

Professional Experience

2–4 years of experience in human resources with a focus on onboarding, employee relations, or HR operations.
