Job Purpose
To support logistical planning and project coordination for exploration operations, ensuring timely mobilization, contract execution, and supply chain efficiency. The role contributes to operational readiness and contractor performance across remote sites.
Key Accountabilities
- Logistics Planning & Execution
- Assist in developing and maintaining annual logistics plans (ALP) in coordination with field schedules.
- Balance logistics demand and supply, identifying capacity gaps and proposing solutions
- Contract Management Support
- Support creation, evaluation, and execution of transportation and logistics contracts.
- Ensure contract data is accurately entered into Oracle Fusion systems for tracking and compliance
- Performance Monitoring
- Track logistics KPIs and contractor performance against SLAs.
- Provide feedback and updates to support continuous improvement and cost control
- Field Support & Coordination
- Coordinate with field teams to ensure timely delivery of materials, equipment, and personnel.
- Support emergency logistics planning and mobilization efforts
- Documentation & Reporting
- Maintain accurate records of logistics activities, contract execution, and budget utilization.
- Prepare reports for internal stakeholders and contribute to risk and control assessments
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Engineering, or a related field.
- Certification in project or contract management (preferred).
- 2–4 years in logistics or project coordination within mining or industrial environments.
- Experience with Oracle Fusion or similar ERP systems.
- Familiarity with contract lifecycle management and field logistics operations.
