Assists with the coordination with concerned departments in the preparation of bid documents including the development of specifications, terms and conditions, ensuring that contractual and governmental rules and regulations are complied with; follows up and all

Essential Responsibilities and Duties

1. Liaises with all concerned departments in the Hospital in the preparation of bid documents, assists the departments on preparing their contractual requirements, specifications, terms and conditions.

2. Assists in contract preparation under the supervision of the Chief, Contracts Management.

3. Responsible for checking and keeping complete records of all Letters of Guarantee/Performance Bonds submitted to the Department against hospital contracts.

4. Assists the concerned hospital departments in determining the contract completion dates, recommends approval and o/or withholding of payments based on the contractor’s performance and fulfilment of its contractual obligations.

5. Assists in the coordination of reviews of the contractors’ performances with the concerned departments.

6. Assists in the evaluation and review of bid proposals.

7. Participates in the Bid Opening Committee as assigned.

8. Ensures that all projects and/or contracts are funded and identifies which Chapter of the budget they will be funded from.

9. Participates in self and others’ education, training and development, as applicable.

10. Follows all Hospital related policies and procedures.

11. Performs any other related duties as assigned.

Education

Master’s or Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, or other related discipline is required

Experience Required

Grade09:

One(1) year of related experience with Master’s, or three (3) years withBachelor’s Degree is required.

Grade10:

Three(3) years of related experience with Master’s, or five (5) years withBachelor’s Degree, including two (2) years of (Grade 09) experience is required.
