Sous Chef - Cloud Kitchen Venture

We’re seeking a skilled Sous Chef to support the Head Chef in overseeing the day-to-day operations of our kitchen. This role involves supervising staff, assisting in menu development, ensuring fresh and high-quality meals, and managing inventory. The ideal candidate will leverage both culinary expertise and strong leadership skills to boost customer satisfaction and help our kitchen thrive.

• Reports directly to the Head Chef & Head of Venture
• Provides guidance and supervision to kitchen personnel
  

• Guarantee on-time kitchen operations that meet or exceed quality standards
• Step in for the Head Chef when necessary to plan and direct food preparation
• Proactively resolve issues as they arise and take control of challenging scenarios
• Manage and mentor kitchen staff, organize schedules, and evaluate performance
• Communicate tasks, expectations, and feedback clearly to team members
• Place supply orders to maintain sufficient inventory levels
• Follow and enforce sanitation guidelines and safety regulations
• Uphold a supportive and professional environment among colleagues
• Deliver consistently high-caliber plating—both in taste and presentation
  

• Previous experience as a Chef de Partie (CDP) or Sous Chef
• At least 5 years of total cooking experience, with 1–2 years as a Sous Chef in hospitality or catering
• Must already be residing in Saudi
• Strong English & Arabic communication skills
• Background in a food manufacturing facility is a plus

• Demonstrated ability to lead teams and coordinate multiple kitchen sections
• Experience in hospitality within a school or college setting is an advantage
• Proven track record in effective kitchen management
• Capacity to delegate responsibilities and monitor progress
• Strong communication and leadership abilities
• Knowledge of current culinary trends and efficient kitchen processes
• Familiarity with kitchen-related software solutions and MS Office
