About The Role

The Mozn brand is alive within a plethora of stakeholder touchpoints and therefore the most suitable candidate for the Software Engineer position would bring innovative concepts from diverse domains, encompassing information retrieval, distributed computing, large-scale system architecture, networking and data storage, security, and artificial intelligence. Our Software Engineers at Mozn are responsible for developing next-generation technologies in fraud detection and prevention. As part of this role, you would contribute to the development of a high-performance Software as a Service (SaaS) platform capable of processing a large volume of transactions per second.

What You'll Do

• Responsible for the design, development, testing, and deployment of software components.
• Write clean and maintainable code and participate in peer code reviews to ensure code quality.
• Develop unit tests to run in a continuous integration environment.
• Follow and contribute to best practices for coding and development processes.
• Contribute to the documentation of software design and technical specifications.
• Contribute as a collaborative team member, requiring limited supervision and demonstrating the ability to meet deadlines and goals.
• Collaborate with Scrum Master, Product Management, and other team members.
  
  

Qualifications

• Bachelor's in computer science or a related field (MSc is a plus).
• 2+ years of experience in a similar role; professional certifications are a plus.
• Previous professional experience in fraud prevention or fintech is a plus.
• Excellent bilingual verbal and written communication skills.
• Experience of Go programming language is a must.
• Hands-on experience with concurrency.
• Familiarity with containerization tools such as Docker and Kubernetes.
• Experience with software revision control tools such as Git.
• Ability to explain sophisticated system issues.
• Ability to learn new coding languages as needed.
• Understanding of distributed computing principles.
• Experience with SQL and NoSQL databases, such as MySQL, Postgres, and Redis.
