Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented Senior Commercial Manager to join our team! In this role you will get to be Responsible for any amendments to the management plans, process and procedures within the SAPL PMP for the Public Realm and Special Projects work on Diriyah Gate 1,
What You'll Be Doing:
Day to day management and supervision of SAPL team as identified on the Organization chart SAPL main point of contact with the Contractor and Construction Supervision Consultant for contract and commercial matters
Chair the following meetings
Contract and Commercial
Value engineering
Claims
Cost
Coordination with Project Controls Manager to review the weekly data provided by the contractor and provide a response to the Contractor on any inaccuracies. Analysis of all cost data from the project and summarise into a coherent, professional and concise SAPL weekly dashboard and monthly report.
Coordinate with SAPL SPM to prepare letters to and respond to letters from the Contractor and Construction Supervision Consultant. Coordinate with SAPL SPM to analyse and respond to any claim from the Contractor or Construction Supervision Consultant.
Coordinate with the SAPL SPM to in full accordance with the project change management process. Manage key interfaces between the local Authorities Having Jurisdiction (AHJ) and the Contractor Responsible for the commercial management of the SAPL account including timesheet approval, invoices and payments and the preparation of any variations to the SAPL account. Liaise with SAPL Finance and project controls department for the update of the CFT report and preparation of the monthly financial review of the SAPL project account and the quarterly project report in coordination with the SPCM and PD.
What required Skills Will You Bring :
15 Years total experience with quantity surveying, cost management and contract administration experience within a large international consultant, engineering and/or construction firm
5 years in the Middle East
Bachelors Degree in Quantity Surveying Quantity Surveying, Commercial Management, Engineering, or related field
Professional Membership (RICS or equivalent)
Public Realm Experience
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to successfully work with Project and Construction Management Team, Consultants, Sub-Consultants and Contractors
Demonstrate successful management of quantity surveying, cost management and contract administration within a large international consultant, engineering and/or construction firm with a strong knowledge of the FIDIC form of Contract
The ability to mediate in a conflict situation
The ability to provide professional guidance and task management for direct reports
A problem solving approach seeking win-win solutions
Requires a comprehensive knowledge of industry business practices and must also possess strong written and oral communication skills, excellent interpersonal skills, and a working knowledge of PC software packages typically associated with contract administration.
Proven ability to perform in a management capacity is also required.
