Position Description:
The Media Monitoring and Inquiries Group functions as the Company’s dedicated team in charge of 24/7 media monitoring, analysis and media inquiries.
The position requires working in one of three (8) hour shift conducting thorough media analysis and coordinate with agency, media relations and Aramco’s proponents as necessary.
Duties and Responsibilities
Utilize proper software to monitor media mentions on 24/7 basis covering Aramco, oil and gas, and other general news
Develop daily, weekly, monthly, and quarterly reports summarizing media mentions and analysis and ensure proper distribution internally
Develop ad-hoc customized media analysis reports in case of crisis, issues, or other special requests
Handle incoming media inquiries with proper tracking and logging in an accelerated manner in coordination with Media Relations and proponents
Support crisis situations following the corporate crisis communications manual
Minimum Requirements
Education: BS in Mass Communications, or Public Relations s, Business Administration, Data Analytics, Information Technology, Computer & Information Systems, or relevant field.
Experience: A minimum of (3) years of experience in media monitoring, or relevant field
Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills. The role requires a proactive team player, analytical skills, stress management abilities, flexibility and adaptability during crisis situations.
Languages: Arabic (Native), and English (Fluent) full professional written and verbal proficiency.
Other: Knowledge and understanding of the news media industry and the broader energy industry is desirable
