The successful candidate will have a proven track record of delivering signalling solutions for rail systems, including mixed traffic lines, high-speed rail, and metro projects. You will be responsible for overseeing the design, implementation, and maintenance of signalling systems, ensuring they meet project specifications, safety standards, and regulatory requirements.

Signalling Engineer 100% (m/f)
The successful candidate will have a proven track record of delivering signalling solutions for rail systems, including mixed traffic lines, high-speed rail, and metro projects. You will be responsible for overseeing the design, implementation, and maintenance of signalling systems, ensuring they meet project specifications, safety standards, and regulatory requirements.
Responsibilities
- Lead the development, design, and review of signalling systems for rail and metro infrastructure projects.
- Ensure compliance with national and international safety standards, including CENELEC standards (EN 50126, EN 50128, EN 50129).
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams (civil, track, MEP, etc.) to integrate signalling systems within larger infrastructure projects.
- Conduct risk assessments, fault analysis, and reliability studies to ensure the safety and efficiency of signalling systems.
- Manage signalling aspects of tendering processes, including design reviews, feasibility studies, and cost estimations.
- Supervise contractors and ensure quality control during the installation and commissioning of signalling equipment.
- Provide technical guidance and mentoring to junior engineers within the team.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of signalling technologies, including ETCS, CBTC, and conventional systems.
- Participate in stakeholder and client meetings to present technical updates and ensure alignment with project objectives.
- Coordinate with suppliers and manufacturers to ensure timely delivery of signalling components and systems.
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Telecommunications, or related field (Master's preferred).
- Minimum of 10 years of experience working in signalling within the rail and metro industries.
- Proven expertise in signalling systems for mixed traffic lines, high-speed rail, and metro networks.
- In-depth understanding of signalling standards and regulatory frameworks.
- Experience with the design and implementation of ETCS and CBTC systems is highly desirable.
