Services Providers Supervisor - Shipping Services

Purpose of Job

Jobholders at this level are responsible for leading work activities and working autonomously with minor direction towards predetermined long-term objectives.

Jobholders oversee the implementation of operational plans and the provision of significant improvements to set policies, procedures, standards and reports.

Their main operational role includes reviewing and updating Services Providers’ eligibility criteria, overseeing operations, developing technical and automations systems, and consolidating periodical reports.

Job Responsibilities

• Research and document regional and international changes and trends in logistics’ Services Providers decisions, protocols, and standards
• Develop and update Services Providers’ eligibility criteria in line with ZATCA’s strategic priorities and national rules and regulations
• Review and update service fee policies and exemptions related to Service Providers in line with best practices, national and international regulations, and ZATCA’s strategic objectives
• Coordinate with regional and global authorities to exchange data based on changes logistics’ Services Providers decisions, protocols, and standards in line with best practices
• Conduct regular meetings with Service Providers and gather and filter data related to their operational activities and performance
• Assess collected data based on Service Providers’ operations, identify pain points and critical challenges, and provide recommendation on needed policies and procedures amendments
• Assess escalated delicate cases related to shipping agents, and brokers’ applications, provide support and report back suggestions to ensure resolution
• Review and update list of violations for Service Providers to ensure compliance with Kingdom’s rules and regulations

Education

Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, or equivalent is required

Master’s degree in Business Administration, or equivalent is preferred

Experience

A minimum of 5 years of relevant experience
