Responsibilities
- Review and approve water utility designs to ensure compliance with project specifications, regulations, and sustainability standards.
- Supervise installation, testing, and commissioning of pipelines, pumping stations, and water treatment facilities.
- Manage construction-phase activities to ensure on-time, on-budget delivery with high-quality outcomes.
- Coordinate with civil, mechanical, and electrical teams to ensure seamless integration of utility systems.
- Enforce rigorous quality control and ensure full compliance with local water and environmental standards.
- Resolve technical issues on-site and collaborate with contractors and design teams to implement effective solutions.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for clients on water utility matters, ensuring expectations are met.
- Maintain detailed documentation, including QA/QC records, compliance reports, and handover documentation.
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Civil, Environmental, or Water Resources Engineering (15+ years’ experience), or
- Master’s degree in the same fields (12+ years’ experience)
- At least 5 years in a senior or managerial role on large infrastructure projects under PMC frameworks
- Professional membership (e.g., CIWEM, ICE or equivalent)
- Registered with the Saudi Council of Engineers (SCE)
- Strong knowledge of water distribution, sewage, and stormwater systems
- Excellent coordination, communication, and client-facing abilities
- Skilled in resolving complex technical issues on-site
- Proficient in engineering and project management software
- High attention to detail and a commitment to safety, quality, and compliance
- Fluent in English (Arabic is an advantage)
