Your new role, what's involved?

We are seeking a Senior Traffic Subject Matter Expert (SME) with extensive experience in road design and supervision projects. The ideal candidate will provide expert input on traffic engineering, road safety, and traffic management during the planning, design, and construction supervision phases of major road and highway infrastructure projects.

• Provide technical leadership on traffic engineering and road network design aspects of infrastructure projects.
• Advise on traffic flow, capacity analysis, and safety measures for highways, arterials, intersections, and roundabouts.
• Review and validate traffic studies, transport modeling, and traffic impact assessments prepared by consultants or contractors.
• Supervise and support traffic-related aspects during construction, including temporary traffic management (TTM) and detour planning.
• Ensure compliance with relevant standards (e.g., AASHTO, HCM, MUTCD, local regulations).
• Review road signage, pavement marking plans, and signal design for accuracy and functionality.
• Collaborate with design and construction supervision teams to mitigate traffic-related issues on-site.
• Lead technical meetings with stakeholders, government authorities, and project teams.
• Prepare and review reports, memos, and presentations related to traffic operations and supervision progress.
  
  

We'd love to hear from you if you have:

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Transportation Engineering (Master’s preferred).
• 15+ years of proven experience in traffic engineering and supervision of road/highway projects.
• Professional Engineer (PE) or equivalent registration preferred.
• Strong background in construction supervision, traffic safety audits, and TTM planning.
• Proficient in traffic analysis software (e.g., Synchro, HCS, VISSIM) and AutoCAD or MicroStation.
• Familiar with regional transportation regulations, road safety manuals, and international best practices.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder coordination skills.
