Job Description

We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled Senior Technical Advisor – Stations to provide expert guidance on station design, engineering, and construction. This role is crucial in ensuring that all station infrastructure projects comply with industry regulations, safety standards, and best practices. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background in station development, passenger flow optimization, accessibility, and operational efficiency.

This position requires a blend of technical expertise, leadership, and the ability to work with diverse stakeholders, including architects, engineers, contractors, and government authorities. The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring that station infrastructure is delivered on time, within budget, and meets the highest quality standards.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Provide technical expertise on station design, engineering, and construction to ensure compliance with regulations and industry standards.
• Review and approve technical specifications, drawings, and designs for station infrastructure.
• Assess and recommend improvements for station layout, passenger flow, accessibility, and operational efficiency.
• Collaborate with architects, engineers, and contractors to optimize station functionality and technical alignment.
• Support project planning, scheduling, and execution to ensure timely delivery of station infrastructure.
• Identify and mitigate risks related to station design, construction, and operations.
• Assist in budgeting and cost management for station development and refurbishment projects.
• Ensure adherence to safety, security, and regulatory requirements in station construction and operations.
• Conduct technical reviews and audits to maintain quality standards in station development.
• Advise on environmental sustainability practices and energy-efficient solutions for station infrastructure.
• Act as a liaison between government authorities, contractors, consultants, and internal teams for station-related projects.
• Provide technical presentations and reports to senior management and project stakeholders.
• Address technical challenges and operational concerns through collaboration with multidisciplinary teams.
• Develop maintenance strategies and asset management plans for station facilities.
• Provide technical input on station safety protocols, evacuation procedures, and passenger experience enhancements.
• Support the implementation of smart station technologies and digital transformation initiatives.
  
  
  

What Desired Skills You’ll Bring

• Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering, Architecture, Transportation, or a related technical field.
• Minimum of 20+ years of experience in station design, infrastructure development, and transportation projects.
• Strong technical expertise in station layout planning, passenger flow management, accessibility standards, and operational integration.
• Experience working on large-scale infrastructure projects, preferably in international markets.
• Demonstrated ability to work with both contractors and program management consultants (PMC) in a delivery partnership model.
• Knowledge of regulatory requirements, safety standards, and sustainability practices related to station development.
• Proven leadership skills with the ability to manage multidisciplinary teams and resolve technical challenges.
• Excellent negotiation and stakeholder management skills, including experience working with government agencies and regulatory bodies.
• Strong commercial acumen, project management expertise, and the ability to deliver complex projects within budget and schedule constraints.
• Professional certification in project management (e.g., PMP or equivalent) is preferred.
• Experience in implementing smart station technologies and digital transformation initiatives is a plus.
