Job Description

Parsons is looking for a Senior Structural Engineer to join our design management team on a prestigious mega development project. In this role, you’ll be responsible for overseeing and coordinating the structural design packages for premium residential, hospitality, and infrastructure assets — ensuring technical integrity, design excellence, and seamless integration across disciplines.

What You’ll Be Doing

• You’ll review structural design deliverables — including calculations, drawings, and specifications — for compliance with project requirements and international codes.
• You’ll coordinate closely with architectural, MEP, and infrastructure teams to ensure structural designs are fully integrated and constructible.
• You’ll work with design consultants to resolve technical issues, monitor design progress, and verify adherence to project milestones.
• You’ll participate in interdisciplinary design reviews, workshops, and clash resolution sessions.
• You’ll provide technical input during value engineering and structural optimization studies.
• You’ll ensure that design safety, durability, sustainability, and performance are embedded in all structural solutions.
• You’ll review shop drawings, method statements, and material submittals related to structural systems as needed.
• You’ll liaise with contractors, consultants, and relevant authorities to facilitate approvals and design compliance.
  
  
  

What Required Skills You’ll Bring

• Bachelor’s Degree in Civil or Structural Engineering
• Minimum 10 years of experience in structural design, including high-end buildings or mixed-use developments.
• Proficiency in structural design software
• Solid knowledge of international design codes and local authority requirements.
• Strong understanding of reinforced concrete and steel structures in both superstructure and substructure applications.
• Excellent coordination and communication skills.
  
  
  

What Desired Skills You’ll Bring

• Experience working on ultra-luxury, giga, or Vision 2030 projects is a strong asset.
• Experience in seismic and wind load design considerations for tall or complex structures.
• Familiarity with digital review tools such as Navisworks or BIM 360 is a plus.
