WSP is seeking a highly skilled Senior Structural Engineer with a strong background in infrastructure design and project delivery to join our team in Riyadh. The role demands solid experience in structural engineering with a civil engineering background, a deep understanding of design principles, and proven experience in PMC environments.

You will be responsible for leading and reviewing the structural design aspects of large-scale infrastructure projects, ensuring design integrity, constructability, and alignment with project goals and timelines.

Your new role, what's involved?

• Provide technical leadership in structural design for major infrastructure projects (e.g., bridges, tunnels, retaining structures, culverts, etc.).
• Review and validate structural designs submitted by consultants and contractors.
• Ensure compliance with international codes, local regulations, and project specifications.
• Work closely with multidisciplinary teams including architects, civil engineers, MEP engineers, and project managers.
• Coordinate with stakeholders, clients, and authorities to ensure efficient project execution.
• Participate in value engineering and risk analysis processes to optimize structural solutions.
• Assist in developing project scopes, design criteria, technical specifications, and reports.
• Provide technical support during the construction phase to ensure alignment with design intent.
• Support tendering processes by evaluating technical submissions and participating in bid reviews.
• Mentor junior engineers and support knowledge-sharing across the team.
  
  

We'd love to hear from you if you have:

• Bachelor's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering (Master’s preferred).
• Minimum 10 years of experience in structural engineering with a focus on infrastructure projects.
• Previous experience in a Project Management Consultant (PMC) capacity is required.
• Strong understanding of structural analysis and design principles for large civil infrastructure.
• Proficient in design tools and software such as STAAD Pro, ETABS, SAFE, SAP2000, Revit, and AutoCAD.
• Familiarity with international standards (e.g., ACI, BS, Eurocode) and local regulations.
• Strong interpersonal, communication, and coordination skills.
• Professional accreditation (e.g., PE, CEng, or equivalent) is a plus.
• Experience working in the Middle East is preferred.
