Qiddiya Investment Company, a pioneering leader in the entertainment and leisure sector in Saudi Arabia, is seeking a detail-oriented and skilled Senior Specialist - Accounts Payable to join our finance team. This pivotal role involves managing the accounts payable process, ensuring vendors are paid accurately and on time while maintaining compliance with financial policies.

As a Senior Specialist in Accounts Payable, you will be responsible for processing invoices, reconciling vendor accounts, and optimizing payment workflows. Your expertise will contribute significantly to the smooth functioning of our financial operations and help foster strong relationships with our vendor partners.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee the accounts payable processing cycle from receipt of invoices through payment
  • Verify and validate invoices for accuracy, ensuring they are processed in accordance with company policies
  • Reconcile vendor statements and resolve any discrepancies in a timely manner
  • Assist in the month-end closing activities relating to accounts payable
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with vendors and internal stakeholders to facilitate effective communication
  • Identify opportunities for process improvements within the accounts payable function
  • Support audits by providing necessary documentation and insights into accounts payable processes
  • Train and mentor junior accounts payable staff as needed


Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of relevant experience in accounts payable or financial operations
  • Thorough understanding of accounts payable processes and best practices
  • Proficient in accounting software and Microsoft Excel
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with meticulous attention to detail
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration across teams
  • Experience with ERP systems and financial reporting tools is a plus
