Senior Software Quality Engineer

We are looking for a skilled Senior Software Quality Engineer with a strong background in Agile testing and Test Automation of mobile applications across iOS and Android platforms. The ideal candidate will have the ability to design, develop, automate, and execute test cases to ensure the quality, functionality, and reliability of our mobile solutions.

• Design and execute comprehensive test cases for mobile applications to identify defects and ensure compliance with functional requirements.
• Develop and maintain automated test scripts using industry-standard tools and frameworks (e.g., Appium, Selenium, XCUITest, UI Automator).
• Enhance existing automation frameworks by adding new wrapper functions, integrating cloud device farms, CI tools like Jenkins, and more.
• Collaborate with developers, product managers, and stakeholders to understand project requirements and create detailed test plans and strategies.
• Run automated test suites, analyze results, log defects, and work closely with developers to ensure timely resolution.
• Perform functional, integration, regression, and end-to-end testing to ensure software reliability.
• Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies, providing feedback on deliverables and proposing process improvements.
• Ensure comprehensive test coverage for all application features under test.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of QA processes, frameworks, and methodologies.
• Stay updated on trends in mobile development and testing technologies.
  

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
• 4+ years of experience in software QA, focused on mobile testing and automation.
• Strong Java programming skills with knowledge of the latest JDK features.
• Hands-on experience in mobile automation tools such as Appium, Selenium, XCUITest, UI Automator, etc.
• Proficiency with build tools like Maven and Gradle.
• Expertise in BDD frameworks using Cucumber.
• Experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins and containerization using Docker.
• Experience integrating with cloud device farms like BrowserStack, Sauce Labs, etc.
• Proficient in using Git/Bitbucket and working with branching strategies.
• Familiarity with test management tools such as TestRail, Jira, and documentation platforms like Confluence.
• Strong understanding of mobile app architecture, platforms (iOS & Android), and technologies.
• Experience designing and executing manual test cases alongside automation.
• Strong troubleshooting skills using app logs, network logs, proxies, etc., to find root causes and provide actionable insights.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills; team-oriented mindset.
• Solid experience in Agile testing methodologies.
• Bonus: Experience in Web and API Testing and Automation.
