This position reports to

Sales Manager

Your role and responsibilities

  • Sells products/systems/services to customers, focusing on volume, mix, and profitability targets for the motion Services division in Saudi Arabia.

Knowledge on Motors and VFD application process know how with service capabilities of Motors and VFD.

  • Establishes and maintains effective customer relationships to understand their needs, promotes their understanding of ABB’s complete product/systems/ services offering, and aligns with them to provide a solution. Ensures a positive customer experience throughout the sales process.
  • Prepares sales plans using ABB authorized tools Sales force and Installed base tools. Performs regular status reviews and proposes recovery plan(s), in case of any potential order shortfalls.

Creates added value for the customer and ABB and ensures the successful outcome of transactions, contracts, and proposals, by using effective sales techniques.

  • Communicates to the customers about the details related to delivery time, payments, and general terms and conditions, in line with ABB’s offering and strategy. Ensures efficient marketing activities and communicates value proposition to customers.
  • Identifies and drives the development of new market opportunities in the designated market in oil and gas, knowledge on oil and gas market with customer contacts and process knowledge is must .

Customer satisfaction and process at customer OpEx is required.

  • Manages administrative procedures in sales processes and supports cash collection and project management activities, when needed.
  • Prepares offers in coordination with the bid and proposal department / offering solution to customer on energy efficiency and life cycle offerings,
  • Ensures appropriate technical and financial aspects of offers are in place, including prices and trading conditions.


Qualifications For The Role

  • Bachelor of Engineering in Electrical or Mechanical field
  • with 5+ years experience
  • Oil and Gas customer knowledge, contacts and process.
  • Motor and VFD basic
  • Services and life cycle offering knowledge on Motor and IB including energy appraisal modernization solutions,
  • Sales Skills and Self motivated.
  • Service background on motor and VFD
  • Energy efficiency appraisal knowledge
  • Maintenance experience on motor and VFD
  • Fluent in English is required
