Senior Sales Engineer – Industrial Chemicals & Process Solutions

Salary: SAR 20,000/month

Role Overview
We are seeking a Senior Sales Engineer with deep technical expertise and a proven track record in the Saudi Arabian market. The ideal candidate will have a background in Chemical Engineering or Chemistry and extensive experience in selling adsorbents, catalysts, molecular sieves, ion exchange resins, and gas purification solutions.
Key Responsibilities
Business Development and Sales Growth
• Develop and implement sales strategies to grow market share in Saudi Arabia
• Identify and engage key clients in oil and gas, refining, petrochemical, and mining sectors
• Build strong relationships with plant operations, procurement, and technical teams
• Lead contract negotiations, pricing, and tender submissions
Technical Sales and Product Expertise
• Provide expert consultation on:
• Molecular sieves, adsorbents, and co-catalysts
• Regenerative catalysts and bed supports
• Activated alumina, PSA systems, and contaminant removal
• Gas purification, sulphur removal, and amine systems
• Ion exchange resins, activated clays, and thermic fluids
• Collaborate with client engineering teams to recommend optimal solutions
Market Research and Strategy
• Conduct market analysis and identify growth opportunities
• Liaise with global manufacturing partners to expand product reach
• Monitor competitor activity and develop differentiation strategies
Customer Support and After-Sales
• Deliver technical presentations and product demonstrations
• Support product testing, troubleshooting, and performance evaluations
• Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction through ongoing support
Candidate Profile
Qualifications
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Chemical Engineering or Chemistry
• 8–12 years of experience in technical sales within the Saudi industrial sector
Skills and Competencies
• In-depth knowledge of process chemistry and separation technologies
• Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills
• Familiarity with major clients such as Saudi Aramco, SABIC, and others
• Proficiency in CRM tools and sales reporting
• Willingness to travel across Saudi Arabia
