Senior Sales Engineer – Jeddah, Saudi Arabia
The Senior Sales Engineer is responsible for development and pursuit of business opportunities for Power & Water Solutions in Saudi Arabia and will be based in Jeddah. This role is focused on Emerson signature brand Ovation, offering comprehensive solutions, which are used in a power generation, renewables, water and wastewater treatment industry.
We are looking for a highly motivated and determined professional to work with a diverse and proficient group of people. Developing a close relationship with counterparts in customer organizations and driving customer satisfaction is a key aspect of this role .
In This Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:
- Sales plan for assigned accounts and install base sites.
- Meet or exceed the financial goals for the assigned accounts/sites. Manage the opportunity funnel and submit monthly and yearly order forecast.
- Identify, qualify, and lead new opportunities till closure.
- Demonstrate and present power and water solutions to customers and follow through to ensure customer technical queries are addressed.
- Drive sales by directly working with local sales channels.
- Know Emerson opportunity identification to sales process and manage install base business independently.
- Review and provide input/feedback on all proposals generated by the proposal team, collaborate with Subject Matter Experts to build the best suited technical solution for customers.
- Build long-term customer relationships and manage resolutions to specific customer needs and issues.
- Add value to the customer’s business and maintain a goal-oriented approach to the business partnership.
- Organize customer’s events to promote Emerson products. Support marketing programs, strategies, and new product promotion. Adhere to Health, Safety & Environment policies as laid by the organization
Who you are?
- Have basic knowledge of sales and account management.
- Engineering background with exposure to power and water industry.
- Understanding of automation and industrial software solutions relevant to power and water industry.
For this Role, You Will Need:
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering (Electronics, Electrical or instrumentation engineering)
- 3 - 5 years of direct sales experience
- Considering wide customer base spread across the region, this role will involve 50%-60% of travel time.
Preferred Qualifications that Set You Apart:
- Understanding of Saudi power and water market and key players Excellent written and spoken English is essential
