Purpose of the Position
With the present wave in the mining industry and Metso's strong Product Portfolio and the Process Knowledge – technical solution and technical sales support in terms of selecting the optimum process solution, equipment type / size plays a very important role in succeeding wining of new deal.
Therefore, the core purpose of this position is to drive the Sales and business development in terms of quality, value addition of the offering and also to expand the area of solution / equipment offerings in the mining segment in the Mineral Processing

Therefore, the core purpose of this position is to drive the Sales and business development in terms of quality, value addition of the offering and also to expand the area of solution / equipment offerings in the mining segment in the Mineral Processing
Areas of Responsibility
- Drive the business growth in Mineral Processing Business mainly in integrated Solution Sales in the Wet Process Part, Process Island Offerings, stand alone Flotation Offerings, Hydometallugy Solutions and Offerings etc.
- Provide assistance for all ongoing sales cases in the above segment in Saudi Arabia
- Identify potential offerings in the above segment in terms of solutions or in terms of improvement opportunities based on specific customer needs
- Follow up on opportunity loss analysis, compititor’s activities
- Keeping an excellent network with global team to gather updates / best practices and implement the same in MEI. Also place market / customer feedback, market demand etc. to the global team for necessary support and business growth
- Keep up to date with Metso equipment and process knowledge for Mineral Processing,
- Prepare and making customer visits, presentations, sales campaigns, product updates, news letter etc
- Support other team members when needed.
Solution and Process offring development in Middle East shall need development of strong network with
- Sales Team, other sales suppoort team
- Site Account Managment Team
- Gloabl Product Support team, Plant Solution Team, Process experts in Metso's Test Centers etc.
- Peers from other market area / geographical location
External Network development shall include
- Customers
- Similar System / Solution Providers in the market (to keep uptodate on market development)
- Must have bachelor’s degree from Mining / Metallurgy / Mineral Processing Engineering,
- Must have Minimum to 7 to 10 years’ experience in similar Industry,
- Willing to work in Saudi Arabia, Must have no obstacles both domestic and international travel
- Good command of English, both written and spoken.
- Good command of Arabic will be an advantage
- Ability to work in a team atmosphere,
- Problem solving and result oriented,
- Strong leadership and relationship building skills. As well as strong communication, co-operation, interpersonal and presentation skills to manage internal and external interfaces,
- Mindset and detail-oriented behaviors are required
- A highly motivated, self-starting individual with the ability to plan, organize, work under stress, meet deadlines and work independently
- Must have ability to make reliable decisions under pressure,
- Skills need to include building and managing internal relationships, and understanding of customer needs and market requirements,
- Knowledge of typical business transactions including costing, pricing, profit calculation, quote preparation, and application of terms and conditions and payment terms,
- Must have a valid driving license.
