Senior PSG Engineer

Role Purpose

To install, maintain and repair high end Xerox Production system group machines multifunction office printers/ copiers/ scanners products, with high optimum level & cost effectiveness totally understanding customer needs in Graphic Printing and production Printing environment and accordingly provide quality service, solutions, and assistance, displaying high level of technical skills to support and achieve high level of customer satisfaction.

Job Accountabilities & Activities

• Install, maintain, and repair Xerox PSG and multifunction office products to the optimum level, along with Saudi Xerox products placed at customer locations within the specified territory or as directed with published technical standards and procedures in a cost-effective way with the highest reliability possible.
• Conduct & plan specialized Key Operator Training sessions for production and graphic art machines, explaining colour calibration, conduct advance Operator maintenance training to improve uptime and mainly maintain high level of quality output from PSG machines.
• Share knowledge with regards to different media types, specification to achieve high level of quality output in production and graphic arts customer locations.
• Cascade, Coach, assist Other team engineers with proper planning along with Field Service managers to improve technical skills and improve team performance level.
• Assist Service manager and team in conducting PSG customer study and analyse statistics to suggest, test solutions.
• Proactively providing feedback to his immediate Manager for any customer issues or urgent needs which are outside of his scope of competency to rectify ASAP, thereby displaying seniority and being role model to other team members.
• Reports all his service documents in a timely and with accurate data.
• Clearly communicate with customers with regards to the job performed.
• Achieve optimum satisfaction for quality of Graphic Printing and production Printing for PSG Customers.
• Demonstrate the correct procedure to reach SXL service and related work area.
• Good training (do’s & don’ts) for Xerox Product Operation and functions to achieve best quality prints.
• Team performance, targets & goals to be achieved through fair team spirit.
• Assist other engineers as and when needed or directed by Manager or Work Controller.
• Punctuality, Discipline and total compliance of company rules, policies, and procedures.
• Ensure safety of company property, such as Laptops, Tool Case, & software files.
  
  

Education & Certifications

Degree in Engineering (Electronics /Electrical/Mechanical) or Equivalent Experience.

Required Years Of Experience

At least 5 years as a PSG engineer.
