Needs to activate Client program management in collaboration with the Strategy Management office and to carry out program management role through end to end program management support that will ensure formal confirmation of program creation, delivery and execution of respective projects, and ensuring successful closure of all program components.

Deliver Client Programs At All Phases

  • Program Definition and Planning: Establish clear objectives, scope, and timelines.
  • Program Delivery and Monitoring: Ensure continuous oversight and adjustments as needed.
  • Program Closure: Confirm all deliverables are met and formally close the program.

Provide

  • Adherence to Client Project Management Methodology: Follow established processes and standards.
  • Management of EPMO Reporting and Performance Dashboard: Keep track of project progress and performance metrics.
  • Support for Client Project Management System (PMS): Assist users with the dashboard and EPM tools.
  • Conduct Awareness Sessions and Manage Change Resistance: Educate stakeholders and address any resistance to changes.
  • Quality Assurance of Deliverables and Stage Gate Review: Ensure all project outputs meet quality standards.

Capability Support Services

  • Support for New Project Managers: Help new staff integrate and understand their roles.
  • Assistance for Client Business Owners: Provide guidance and support to business owners.
  • Support for Other Stakeholders and Staff: Offer help as needed to ensure everyone is aligned and informed.

Mandatory Skills/Experience Required

Entity Strategy Refresh/Refinement:

  • Review Current Strategy: Assess the existing strategy to identify areas for improvement or refinement.
  • Stakeholder Consultation: Engage with key stakeholders to gather input and feedback on strategic priorities.
  • Market Analysis: Conduct a market analysis to understand current trends, opportunities, and threats.
  • Strategy Development: Refine or develop new strategic objectives, initiatives, and action plans.
  • Approval and Communication: Obtain approval from the board and communicate the updated strategy to all stakeholders.

Develop Mini Policies & Procedures (P&Ps)

  • Identify Key Areas: Determine the specific areas where mini policies and procedures are needed.
  • Draft Policies and Procedures: Develop concise and clear policies and procedures for each identified area.
  • Review and Revise: Ensure the mini P&Ps align with overall organizational policies and legal requirements.
  • Approval and Implementation: Obtain necessary approvals and implement the mini P&Ps across the organization.
  • Training and Awareness: Conduct training sessions to ensure all relevant staff understand and adhere to the new policies and procedures.

Entity Mandate Refresh

  • Assess Current Mandate: Review the existing mandate to identify any gaps or areas for improvement.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Consult with stakeholders to gather insights and ensure the mandate aligns with their expectations.
  • Draft Updated Mandate: Develop a refreshed mandate that clearly defines the entity's purpose, scope, and responsibilities.
  • Approval and Adoption: Present the updated mandate to the board for approval and formally adopt it.
  • Communication and Integration: Communicate the refreshed mandate to all stakeholders and integrate it into the organization's operations.
