Requirements

Represent the business team with vendors. Oversee and report on the evolution of the product into a mature level in terms of functionality. Support the business team in the review of vendor deliverables and overseeing & reporting on the compliance with scope and contractual requirements. Drive compliance with the project governance among all relevant parties Drafting reports (both internal and external) and executive level presentations Support in reviewing the vendor’s deliverables and ensure compliance with scope and contractual requirements and provide recommendations on the quality of submitted deliverables to proceed with invoicing. Support in holding technical discussion meetings with the vendor in coordination with the project manager. Challenge the vendor on their performance. Support the project delivery alongside the project manager, and support in identifying risks and issues and proposing corrective actions. Monitor and report on the project progression as per the planned schedule. Establish and maintain relationships with all project stakeholders, ensuring proper alignment and understanding of roles and responsibilities. Provide daily and activity-based reports to the Smart County director, highlighting progress, risks, and mitigation plans.

Role-Specific Responsibilities:

  • As Experts, focusing primarily on policy & regulation.

  • Strong background in formulating, implementing, and enforcing smart city or county regulations, guidelines, and policies.

  • Strong background in smart city regulations, codes, policies (internal within organizations and external to be mandated in geographic areas)

  • Strong background in the implementation and ratification of Smart City regulations and policies.

  • Develop a technical stakeholder management plan to identify the critical stakeholders (including legal entities, external organizations, and internal departments responsible for codes & regulations) to ensure effective interfacing and alignment.

Key Competencies Required

Strong knowledge of smart city concepts and initiatives. Strategic and critical thinking. Exceptional stakeholder management skills. Proficient project management skills. Excellent communication and presentation skills. Fluency in English is mandatory; Arabic is a plus.

Role-Specific Responsibilities:

  • As Product Managers, responsible for SCP product evolution and stakeholder collaboration for new products.

  • Familiar on the technical level with the component of an SCP including its seven layer and how they integrate (i.e., ingestion, data lake, enablers etc. up to the application layer)

  • Knowledge of data management and ingestion

  • Familiar with the data integration requirements with other subsystems such as but not limited to field devices.

  • Experience in product management and how to evolve it and build a road map accordingly.

  • Ability to transform the high-level functional requirements to the technical requirements that needs to be implemented to make it happen.

  • Support in co-designing new use cases in collaboration with different RCU departments and ensuring their needs are fulfilled.

Key Competencies Required
