Job Description

Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented Senior Project Engineer to join our team! In this role you will get to support technical execution across all four ERF phases. This role ensures engineering tasks are coordinated effectively between stakeholders and that delivery aligns with project objectives, quality standards, and program timelines.

What You'll Be Doing;

• Assist in the technical planning and delivery of the ERF across all 4 phases under a finish/start scenario.
• Support in managing work packages and monitoring technical progress throughout the construction lifecycle.
• Review design deliverables and ensure implementation aligns with project specifications and client expectations.
• Interface daily with construction, supervision, and design teams (SO&W, DP, PMC, CS) to ensure technical issues are resolved promptly.
• Coordinate with the core team and provide consistent updates to the Senior Project Manager.
• Track progress against schedules and report deviations, providing recommendations for corrective action.
• Assist in preparing technical reports, look-ahead schedules, and progress presentations.
• Review site activities to ensure compliance with approved drawings, specifications, and industry standards.
• Support QA/QC efforts by monitoring workmanship and verifying documentation is complete and accurate.
• Ensure all engineering and construction drawings are properly reviewed, approved, and issued.
• Assist in the preparation and maintenance of logs, RFI responses, technical submittals, and material approvals.
• Identify potential engineering issues or constructability concerns early in the project and escalate accordingly.
• Support in mitigation planning and value engineering efforts as needed.
  
  
  

What Required Skills You'll Bring;

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or related discipline.
• Minimum 7 years of experience in engineering and construction supervision.
• Experience working on major infrastructure or airport projects.
• Proven track record supporting multi-phase delivery programs and interdisciplinary teams.
• Strong technical background with the ability to interpret drawings, specifications, and contracts.
• Familiarity with project management tools (e.g., Primavera P6, MS Project).
• Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to evolving project demands.
• Experience with early works or phased infrastructure projects.
• Exposure to multidisciplinary coordination across PMC, DP, and CS teams.
• Familiarity with local codes and regulatory frameworks.
