Senior Planning Engineer 1

Position Overview:

We are currently seeking a Senior Planning Engineer to join our team in Madinah, Saudi Arabia. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and maintaining comprehensive project schedules, providing analysis and reporting on project progress, and identifying and mitigating potential schedule risks.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain project schedules using Primavera P6 software
• Provide regular analysis and reporting on project progress, including schedule performance and variances
• Identify and mitigate potential schedule risks and provide recommendations for corrective actions
• Work closely with project managers and other team members to ensure that project schedules are accurate and up-to-date
• Collaborate with clients and contractors to ensure that project schedules are aligned and any changes are properly communicated and implemented
• Mentor and train junior planning engineers on best practices and techniques for developing and managing project schedules
• Participate in project meetings and provide updates on schedule status and any potential impacts to the project timeline
• Continuously monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of project schedules and make necessary adjustments to ensure project success
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in scheduling software and techniques, and make recommendations for process improvements
  
  
  

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field
• Minimum of 12 years of experience in project planning and scheduling, preferably in the construction industry
• Proficiency in Primavera P6 software
• Strong understanding of project management principles and techniques
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Experience working on large, complex projects is preferred
• Fluency in English is required, knowledge of Arabic is a plus
• Willingness to relocate to Madinah, Saudi Arabia for the duration of the contract
