Job Description

Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented Senior MEP Engineer to support the design management of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems across a landmark mega development project. You’ll be responsible for reviewing and coordinating MEP designs, ensuring technical excellence, compliance with codes, and smooth integration across all disciplines.

What You’ll Be Doing

• You’ll review MEP design submissions (HVAC, electrical, plumbing, fire protection, ELV systems) from consultants and contractors for quality, completeness, and compliance with project requirements.
• You’ll coordinate MEP designs with architectural, structural, and infrastructure teams to ensure full design integration.
• You’ll support the development and delivery of design packages through all stages, from concept to IFC.
• You’ll lead and participate in design reviews, coordination meetings, and technical workshops.
• You’ll track and manage MEP-related RFIs, design issues, and change requests.
• You’ll provide technical guidance during value engineering and system optimization exercises.
• You’ll ensure designs reflect the highest standards of comfort, performance, energy efficiency, and sustainability.
• You’ll assist in reviewing shop drawings, material submittals, and mockups where applicable.
• You’ll liaise with design consultants and support statutory approvals with relevant authorities.
  
  
  

What Required Skills You’ll Bring

• Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Building Services Engineering.
• Minimum 10 years of experience in MEP design or design management roles, with proven work on large-scale high-end developments.
• Strong technical understanding of integrated MEP systems, including smart building technologies and energy-efficient solutions.
• Proficiency in design tools such as AutoCAD, Revit MEP, Navisworks, and MS Office.
• Excellent collaboration and coordination skills.
  
  
  

What Desired Skills You’ll Bring

• Professional license or certification (e.g., PE, CEng, PMP) is preferred.
• Experience on giga or Vision 2030-related projects is highly desirable.
• LEED, WELL, or other green building credentials are an advantage.
• Strong understanding of BIM-based MEP coordination workflows.
