Background:

The last 5 years has seen a profound acceleration of investment in sport within the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. Sport is a prime driver in the kingdom’s “Vision 2030” an ambitious plan to diversify its economy and transform the lives of Saudi Nationals and inspire visitors from around the world. Dentsu Sports recently launched their MENA office and are building a team of marketing professionals perfectly placed to deliver transformational sports projects in the region.

The Role:

As a Senior Marketing Executive - Dentsu Sports Analytics MENA you work alongside the Dentsu Sports Analytics team (part of Dentsu Sports International DSI) and the Merkle (a Dentsu agency) technology team on a diverse mix of client projects in the MENA region (based in Saudi Arabia).

Support the delivery of strategic marketing projects and campaigns for rights holders and brands based on insights developed from 1st party data analysis and broader 3rd party data and market research.

Who we are looking for:

  • 1 – 2 years’ experience in supporting the delivery of multichannel D2C digital campaigns in an agency environment or experience in a marketing or strategic in-house role within a relevant industry e.g sport, entertainment, tourism.
  • A Saudi National or with right to work status in KSA.
  • Great self-starting attitude, keen to join an entrepreneurial organisation where every working day is different.
  • Intuitive, self-motivated and an understanding of digital marketing and the role of data
  • Some understanding of the rapidly changing digital landscape, digital marketing platforms and data management systems.


Responsibilities:

  • Supporting the analysis of 1st party data to help inform campaign strategy across a variety of sports revenue lines and communication initiatives.
  • Support the setup of multi-channel personalized campaigns for a variety of sports, teams & brands
  • Assist the development automated campaign journeys
  • Contribute to the identification of fan segments
  • Communicate with different stakeholders to keep them informed about upcoming data management initiatives
  • Part of the team maintaining and improving data management processes and accuracy
  • Work with Dentsu technology teams to help manage CRM, CDP systems and data warehousing
  • Some understanding of omnichannel digital marketing platforms e.g. Braze, Salesforce, Adobe, MS Dynamics
  • Beginners Digital Marketing Analytics experience e.g. Google Analytics
  • Understand Customer Data Platform / Data Management experience


Client Servicing/Account Management:

  • Respond in a timely and accurate manner to client requests, working seamlessly with colleagues across the network to deal with requests.
  • Support client campaign projects on a day-to-day basis.
  • Part of an agency network that coordinates client requirements.


Project Management:

  • Contribute to campaign projects and tasks from start to finish individually or with the broader team.
  • Complete relevant tasks to project team at all levels.
  • Share work with the broader agency and champion others.
  • Ensure that your tasks are undertaken and delivered on time.


Administration:

  • Some knowledge and understanding of commerciality and the costing system to support on job estimates
  • Regular reporting of task completion and updates to managers and above.
  • Complete timesheets and other day to day admin tasks timely and accurately.


Culture & Values:

  • Support managers in agency culture initiatives.
  • Support our culture and values targets by involving yourself in the planning and delivery of culture and value initiatives.


Business Growth:

  • Assist and help where required on new business opportunities across DSI
  • Pro-actively look at potential areas for new business and inform the managers and directors of ideas and concepts.


Self-Development:

  • Keep up to date with industry news and share knowledge / the latest with the wider agency team.
  • Undertake relevant and appropriate training to develop skillset.
  • Seek out and actively learn new skills (through relevant training, webinars etc.) to develop and increase knowledge.
  • Plan and agree short- and long-term goals with your line manager, drive your own career development.
