We are seeking a Senior Manager for Landscape Architecture & Urban Design (Sports Assets) to lead our innovative designs that will define the core of our sports venues and facilities.
In this pivotal role, you will manage the landscape architecture and urban design of various sports assets, ensuring that every design reflects the latest trends in sustainability, functionality, and aesthetic appeal. You will work collaboratively with various stakeholders, including architects, engineers, and consultants, to create exceptional open spaces that enhance the visitor experience and promote community engagement.

Key Responsibilities
In this pivotal role, you will manage the landscape architecture and urban design of various sports assets, ensuring that every design reflects the latest trends in sustainability, functionality, and aesthetic appeal. You will work collaboratively with various stakeholders, including architects, engineers, and consultants, to create exceptional open spaces that enhance the visitor experience and promote community engagement.

Key Responsibilities
- Lead the landscape architecture and urban design initiatives for sports assets within Qiddiya, ensuring alignment with the overall vision and strategic objectives
- Manage the design process from conceptualization to execution, overseeing multiple projects and ensuring they adhere to established timelines and budgets
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders, external consultants, and contractors to develop comprehensive landscape and urban design plans that embody innovation and creativity
- Conduct thorough site assessments and feasibility studies to inform design decisions, considering various factors including environmental impact, sustainability, and community integration
- Prepare high-quality presentations, reports, and design documentation that effectively communicate design concepts to stakeholders
- Mentor and guide a team of landscape architects and urban designers, fostering a collaborative and high-performing work environment
- Engage with local communities and stakeholders to incorporate their feedback and aspirations into design plans
- Stay informed about the latest trends, technologies, and best practices in landscape architecture and urban design, applying this knowledge to enhance project outcomes
- Ensure compliance with local regulations and environmental standards throughout all phases of project development
- Lead the preparation of guidelines and standards for landscape and urban design specific to sports venues and facilities
- Bachelor's degree in Landscape Architecture, Urban Design, or a related field; Master's degree is preferred
- Minimum of 12-15 years of relevant experience in landscape architecture and urban design, with a focus on sports facilities and large-scale projects
- Proven experience managing complex landscape architecture projects from concept to completion
- Demonstrated leadership capabilities, with experience in managing and mentoring multi-disciplinary teams
- Strong understanding of sustainability practices, environmental regulations, and best practices in landscape architecture and urban design
- Excellent project management, organizational, and communication skills
- Proficiency in landscape design software (e.g., AutoCAD, SketchUp, Adobe Creative Suite) and design visualization tools
- Ability to collaborate effectively with diverse stakeholders and navigate complex project requirements
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Familiarity with the sports industry and its unique design considerations is highly desirable
