The Senior Manager - Investment Controller will be instrumental in developing and implementing strategies for effective cost management across the asset lifecycle. This role involves oversight of cost control, budgeting, and financial planning related to all company assets, supporting the organization's goals in operational efficiency and financial performance. The Cost Manager will collaborate with various departments to ensure asset-related costs are accurately captured, monitored, and reported.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement cost management frameworks for asset acquisition, maintenance, and disposal.
  • Monitor and report on asset operational costs, forecasts, and variances.
  • Collaborate with asset management teams to support strategic initiatives and optimize financial performance.
  • Conduct financial analysis and feasibility studies to guide investment decisions.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and audit requirements related to asset costs.
  • Lead cross-functional workshops to identify cost-saving opportunities and enhance budget practices

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Quantity Surveying, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field; advanced degree or certification (CMA, CFA) preferred.
  • 7+ years of experience in cost management, financial analysis, or asset management roles.
  • In-depth understanding of financial principles, budgeting processes, and asset lifecycle management.
  • Strong analytical skills and proficiency in financial modeling and reporting tools
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management capabilities
