Qiddiya Investment Company is at the forefront of creating a world-class entertainment and leisure destination in Saudi Arabia. We are currently seeking a Senior Manager, Cost Control - Residential to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will spearhead the financial oversight and cost management practices for our residential development projects.

As the Senior Manager for Cost Control, you will be responsible for effectively tracking project costs, establishing and maintaining cost protocols, and ensuring that our residential projects are delivered within budget constraints. Your analytical skills and financial acumen will be crucial in identifying cost efficiencies and facilitating strategic planning.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement comprehensive cost control strategies for residential projects within the Qiddiya portfolio
  • Work closely with project teams to establish accurate budgets and track actual costs against those budgets throughout the project lifecycle
  • Analyze cost variances and prepare detailed reports for senior management, outlining financial performance and potential risks
  • Identify opportunities for cost savings through efficient resource management and process improvements
  • Collaborate with procurement and contracting teams to ensure cost-effective purchasing and management of contracts
  • Engage with stakeholders to communicate financial expectations and outcomes, fostering a culture of transparency
  • Utilize SAP and Prism systems for effective tracking and management of project costs
  • Ensure adherence to company policies and industry standards in all cost control practices
  • Monitor market trends to inform budgeting and financial planning activities
  • Support training and development initiatives for team members on cost control practices

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering, finance, or a related field; a Master's degree is preferred
  • Minimum of 9-12 years of experience in cost control or financial management, with a strong emphasis on residential projects
  • Professional certifications such as MRICS or CCP are highly regarded
  • In-depth knowledge of cost management principles, tools, and methodologies
  • Proven capability in financial analysis and reporting
  • Excellent negotiation and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration with cross-functional teams
  • Strong organizational and project management skills, with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks
  • Proficient in cost management software, SAP, and advanced Excel
