Job Purpose
Define, govern, and evolve the enterprise-wide application and data architecture to ensure alignment with business strategy, technology standards, and cost efficiency. Lead the design and governance of cross-domain architecture principles, roadmaps, and integration blueprints spanning SAP and non-SAP platforms. Drive modernization, interoperability, and data-driven decision-making through effective architectural governance, strategic planning, and oversight.

Job Specific Accountabilities
Strategy & Planning
- Develop, maintain, and communicate enterprise architecture principles, frameworks, and reference models.
- Establish and manage application and data architecture roadmaps and capability maps aligned with business objectives.
- Ensure architectural alignment with organizational strategy, digital transformation goals, and technology standards.
- Evaluate and recommend technologies, platforms, and vendors based on enterprise standards and business value.
- Lead architectural due diligence during RFPs, proof-of-concepts, and technology assessments.
- Conduct TCO (Total Cost of Ownership) and ROI (Return on Investment) analysis to inform technology decisions.
- Represent EA practice during the Architecture Review Board (ARB) sessions to ensure compliance with enterprise architecture policies.
- Define, publish, and maintain technology standards catalogs, integration patterns, and reference architectures.
- Govern API, integration, and interoperability frameworks to ensure consistency and scalability across systems.
- Collaborate with IT, Digital Transformation (DT), GRC, and PMO functions to align architectural governance with enterprise priorities.
- Develop and maintain the current and target states for enterprise applications architecture and solution blueprints.
- Oversee the application portfolio lifecycle, ensuring rationalization, standardization, and alignment with enterprise principles.
- Drive enterprise integration strategy covering APIs, middleware, and data-sharing frameworks.
- Develop and maintain the current and target states for enterprise data architecture, including domain models and information flows.
- Collaborate with Data Engineering, Analytics, and Business Intelligence teams to ensure data interoperability and accessibility.
- Support enterprise initiatives in data governance, data integration, quality management, and master data governance.
- Develop and enforce EA principles and standards specific to applications and data domains.
- Develop and maintain multi-year transformation and modernization roadmaps.
- Identify opportunities for application portfolio optimization, consolidation, and technical debt reduction.
- Promote modernization initiatives such as cloud adoption, API-first design, AI, and data democratization.
- Define and monitor enterprise architecture KPIs, including maturity , cost optimization, and rationalization outcomes.
- Evaluate and report on architecture performance, value realization, and alignment to business strategy.
- Track technical debt, system redundancy, and integration health to inform continuous improvement.
