Job summary

MISSION:

Responsible for undertaking scheduled and breakdown maintenance of equipment, ensuring that machinery and equipment runs smoothly and reliably.

TASKS:

• Developing and implementing effective maintenance strategies, schedules, and procedures to ensure the reliability and longevity of equipment and facilities for the assigned project;
• Conducting regular inspections, condition assessments, and performance evaluations of machinery, ensuring compliance with safety standards and operational efficiency;
• Providing technical expertise in diagnosing equipment issues, conducting root cause analysis, and implementing corrective and preventive maintenance measures;
• Implementing reliability-centered maintenance (RCM) practices and predictive maintenance techniques to improve asset reliability and reduce downtime;
• Liaising with cross-functional teams, including operations, engineering, and procurement, to ensure alignment in maintenance activities and timely resolution of issues;
• Assisting in budget preparation, cost estimation for maintenance activities, and efficient allocation of resources to optimize maintenance operations;
• Ensuring compliance with regulatory standards, maintaining accurate maintenance records, and preparing reports on equipment performance and maintenance activities.

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field. Advanced degree or certifications are advantageous;
• 10+ years of progressive experience in maintenance engineering within the Oil & Gas sector;
• Strong analytical skills, problem-solving abilities, and a proactive approach to maintenance management;
• Fluent level of written and spoken English;
• In adherence to the Saudization process, we are exclusively considering applications from Saudi citizens for this position.

• Job Location: Dammam, KSA;
• Contract Duration: Long-term;
• Working schedule: 9 hours x 5 days;
• Starting date: December 2023.
